One goal of Lumpkin County Schools is to provide a testing program that combines with a strong curriculum to provide parents, students, and educators with up-to-date information about academic strengths and weaknesses.  Such information will lead to targeted instruction that enables student achievement to improve. 

Another system-wide goal is to provide a balanced assessment program that wil measure a student's academic  achievement, problem solving skills, and reasoning ability.  The following tests are administered.
